I prefer to shoot in both RAW & JPG at the same time. The JPG for convience in the field, if I need to use a camera store to print things. The RAW for storage and working the image at home.
Granted it is hungry on memory card, but I try to avoid the ’shotgun approach” and taking 15,000 images during a shoot. I find that 150 – 200 images is a busy shoot for me.

I doubt a handycam will allow RAW images.

Where if there is.. a control on a HDD 30 GIG Sony Handycam for raw image rather than jpeg ?
Under what category will or would this control be?
